1 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla in bowl; mix well with wooden spoon or plastic spatula. Shape by tablespoonfuls into balls; place about 2-inches apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Flatten into 1/4-inch thick by pressing in a crisscross design with fork.
Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute.
Place on a wire rack to cool completely.
Yields 1 to 1 1/2 dozen cookies.
