Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 stick butter
    5 apples
    butter
    sugar
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Bring the first four ingredients to a boil in deep dish, pan or casserole.
    Remove from heat.
    Peel and core apples; wrap apples in pie crust after filling center with pat of butter, sugar and cinnamon.
