Banana Bran Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1 c. 100% bran cereal
2/3 c. sugar
2 3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter or margarine
2 large ripe and mashed bananas
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. applesauce
raisins, dates and nuts (optional)
Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
Soften butter and add.
Stir until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Add next 3 ingredients and optional items.
Mix until blended.
Pour into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch greased pan (use Pam in the loaf pan).
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cook 50 to 60 minutes or until done.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove to rack to cool completely.
Makes one 9-inch loaf.
