Zucchini Pie("Like Apple") - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. zucchini, peeled and seeded
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
dash of salt
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
dash of nutmeg
3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Cut up and cook zucchini until crunchy-tender.
Measure 4 cups.
Add the lemon juice and dash of salt.
Let set while measuring the remaining ingredients.
Put zucchini into mixture. It will be \"soupy.\"
Pour into unbaked pie crust; dot with butter. Cover with crust.
Makes a 9-inch pie, like apple.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until browned.
