Kathleen'S Pumpkin Tea Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    1 lb. canned pumpkin
    2/3 c. water
    2/3 c. soft shortening
    2 eggs
    nuts and/or raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
    Shape ingredients into volcano shape.
    Mix all wet ingredients together, then pour in volcano.
    Mix until smooth.
    Grease and flour 2 loaf pans (or cupcakes).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
