Cut-It-Out Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    In a large mixer bowl, beat butter or margarine with electric mixer on medium speed until softened.
    Add sugar and beat until fluffy.
    Gradually beat in flour until well mixed.
    Divide dough into 4 parts.
    Wrap each part in clear plastic wrap.
    Chill in refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours or until firm enough to roll out. Turn oven to 375\u00b0. Remove 1 piece of dough from refrigerator and unwrap.
    On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough so it's 1/4-inch thick.
    (Use floured cookie cutters.)
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven about 8 minutes.
    Makes 36 to 48 cookies.
