Featherweight Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites (at room temperature)
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1/2 c. nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Preparation
    Preheat
    oven
    to
    350\u00b0.
    Cover large baking sheet with foil and
    set
    aside.
    Beat
    egg
    whites
    in medium bowl until foamy. Add
    sugar\tgradually and beat until stiff peaks form. Add vanilla
    and
    salt.
    Fold
    in
    chocolate pieces and nuts. Drop
    by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart.
    Put in preheated oven. Turn off heat.
    Leave
    cookies at least 5 hours or overnight, without opening the door.
    Cookies will be light brown.
    Store in airtight container.\tMakes 45 cookies.
