Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. mashed ripe bananas (2 or 3)
    1 Tbsp. vinegar plus milk to make 1/2 c. liquid
Preparation
    Sift together the flour, soda and salt. Cream the shortening, sugar and eggs, one at a time.
    Beat until fluffy. Add flour mixture alternately with bananas and liquid, beating well after each addition. Turn into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 to 70 minutes or until done. Remove from oven and cool, then remove from pan.
    Allow to cool for several hours before slicing.
