Cracker Jacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    2 c. light brown sugar
    unsalted peanuts
Preparation
    Combine butter, Karo syrup, baking soda, brown sugar and cream of tartar in saucepan.
    Boil for 5 minutes.
    Pour over 5-quarts of popped corn and peanuts.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 20 minutes.
