Earthquake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. whipped topping, room temperature
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 box cake mix (lemon, spice, chocolate or orange)
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Fold whipped topping, beaten egg and vanilla together.
    Add cake mix and stir well.
    Put confectioners sugar in separate bowl. Drop cookie mixture in by the teaspoon.
    Coat each lightly with sugar.
    Put on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
    When done, edges are lightly brown and the top has \"earthquake\" lines!
    Yields 5 dozen cookies.
