Light Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1 pkg. yeast
    10 c. plain flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix water and yeast and set aside.
    Cut flour, sugar, salt and shortening together with a pastry cutter.
    Add milk and yeast mixture and mix well.
    Place a cover (not airtight) over the dough.
    Let rise until double in bulk (2 to 3 hours).
    Mix dough down and knead.
    Shape dough into 3 loaves or into rolls; place in greased pans.
    Let double in bulk again.
    Bake in a preheated 400\u00b0 oven for about 30 minutes or until done.
    The dough will keep in the refrigerator for a week.
