Ingredients

12 eggs
3 lb. powdered sugar
3 lb. flour
1/3 tsp. hortshorn
1/2 (2 oz.) jar anise
butter the size of egg
Preparation

By hand, beat eggs one hour.
Mix sugar, flour, hortshorn, anise and butter together.
Stir in beaten eggs slowly.
Roll out and press with cookie forms marked on rolling pin.
Cut out and let stand overnight.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
Makes 24 dozen.
