"Banana Bread" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. milk with 1 tsp. lemon juice (bottled)
    4 bananas (ripe), mashed
    pinch of salt
    1/2 c. pecans (optional)
Preparation
    In large bowl, mix sugar, shortening and eggs with fork.
    Add flour and baking soda and milk mixture mixed together.
    Mix. Add bananas, salt and pecans.
    Grease 2 loaf pans with shortening. Divide equally in pans.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 5 minutes.
    Let cool 5 minutes and loosen with knife.
    Turn over then flip on bottom side (right side up) to cool on wire rack.
    Yummy!!
