1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 c. persimmon pulp
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening until fluffy.
Add eggs and blend thoroughly.
Mix in persimmon pulp, nuts and raisins.
