Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 stick oleo (1/2 c.)
1/2 c. milk
4 Tbsp. cocoa
3 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter (plain or crunchy)
Preparation

Mix sugar, oleo, milk and cocoa together.
Cook in medium-size pan at medium heat to boiling.
Stir for 1 1/2 minutes while boiling.
Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients; mix thoroughly.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on wax paper. Refrigerate to harden.
Or you may spread mixture in cake pan for cookie squares.
