Lemon Pecan Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. oleo
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Combine flour, soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour.
    Stir in pecans and lemon peel.
    Pour into greased and floured loaf pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
