Cuban Water Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. dry yeast
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. lukewarm water
    6 c. unbleached all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast, salt and sugar with some of the water.
    With wooden spoon, beat flour into rest of water until you have a batter.
    Pour in yeast mixture and mix.
    Add flour until right consistency.
    Knead.
    Cover bowl with a damp cloth (after putting mixture into bowl).
    Let rise.
    Punch down.
    Divide into 2 round loaves.
    Put on greased baking sheet.
    Sprinkle loaves with cornmeal.
    Let rise 5 minutes.
    Cut a cross on top with sharp knife.
    Put pan in cold oven with cake
    pan of boiling water on bottom of oven.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serve at once.
