Ingredients

1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. softened margarine
1/4 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
3/4 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

In a small bowl, combine flour, cocoa and baking soda. Blend well. In large bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar, margarine and 1/4 c. peanut butter until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and egg and beat well.
Stir in flour mixture until blended; set aside. In small bowl, combine 3/4 c. peanut butter and 3/4 c. powdered sugar; blend well.
Roll into 1 inch balls.
For each cookie, shape dough around each peanut butter ball.
Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet (ungreased). Flatten with hand. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 7-9 minutes.
Decorate as desired.
