Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 plus tsp. baking powder
1/2 plus tsp. salt
1 c. ripe mashed banana
1/2 c. walnut
Preparation

Cream together shortening and sugar.
Add eggs; beat well. Sift together dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with mashed bananas, blending well after each addition.
Stir in nuts.
Pour into a well-greased 9 1/2 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until done.
Remove from pan; cool on rack.
