Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 1/4 c. oatmeal (mixed in blender until powdery)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
6 oz. chocolate chips
2 oz. Hershey bar, grated
nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Cream together butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla.
Mix in remaining ingredients.
Form into golf ball size balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets, 2-inches apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned.
Don't overbake. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
