Onion-Cheese Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. biscuit mix
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
    Melt 1 tablespoon butter in small skillet; add onion and cook until transparent.
    Combine onion, biscuit mix, parsley, egg, 1/2 cup cheese and milk, stirring just until moistened.
    Spoon into a lightly greased 8-inch square baking pan; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
    Drizzle with 1 tablespoon melted butter.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
    Yields 6 to 9 servings.
