Ingredients

1 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
2 c. (12 oz. pkg.) peanut butter chips
Preparation

Combine butter or margarine and sugar in large mixing bowl. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
Gradually blend into creamed mixture.
Stir in chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 9 minutes.
Do not overbake.
(Cookies are soft, they will puff during baking and flatten upon cooling.)
Cool about 1 minute.
Remove from cookie sheet.
Cool completely before storing.
