Irish Brown Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    15 oz. raisins
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. margarine
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Blend sugar and water, cook three minutes.
    Add raisins and simmer for 3 minutes.
    Add margarine and let cool.
    Mix flour, spices and baking soda together.
    Blend into raisin mixture. Pour into buttered pan and bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
