Ingredients

1 1/2 c.sugar
1 lb. butter
1 c. ground plain potato chips
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
pecan halves, optional
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Add flour, chips and vanilla.
Drop by heaping tablespoonful onto cookie sheet.
Press with a fork until round; they should be pretty thick.
Put pecan halve on top, if desired.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
Do not brown.
