Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. dates
1 egg
1 1/2 c. walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
2 c. Rice Krispies
shredded coconut
Preparation

Blend together sugar, dates, butter, egg and vanilla; cook 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and add walnuts.
Cool slightly and add Rice Krispies.
Shape into balls and roll in coconut.
