Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. oil
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
5 c. flour (measure before sifting)
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar good.
Add oil.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add to creamed butter and sugars.
Mix good.
Roll into little balls and press on cookie sheet.
Press with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes or until brown.
