Ingredients

1 lb. chopped dates
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped nuts
powdered sugar
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients in a pan; heat until the dates are melted, approximately 10 minutes. Cool mixture. Add vanilla, Rice Krispies and nuts. Wet hands in cold water and roll cookie mixture into small balls. Roll in powdered sugar if desired. Makes 4 dozen.
