Brown Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or shortening
    3 c. light brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    3 tsp. baking soda
    3 tsp. vanilla
    3 tsp. cream of tartar
    enough flour to make a soft dough
Preparation
    Butter and shortening can be used half and half.
    Roll on floured surface into desired thickness, then cut with small cutter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    This is a soft cookie that keeps well.
