Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar, sifted
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together.
Add remaining ingredients. Roll in balls and press down.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
