Ingredients

2 sticks Parkay margarine (not light)
1/2 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. quick oatmeal
1/2 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Cream the margarine and sugars.
Add egg and vanilla.
Mix well.
Add flour, soda and salt.
Mix well.
Add oatmeal and chocolate chips.
Spoon blobs of dough onto ungreased sheets.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 9 to 10 minutes until light brown.
Store in refrigerator to keep from getting stale.
