Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
    2 eggs, unbeaten
    1 1/2 c. mashed bananas (3 or 4)
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar with butter.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Stir in bananas and lemon juice.
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Add and mix in quickly.
    Stir in nuts.
    Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
    Cool on rack.
