Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. margarine, softened
1 egg
1/2 c. commercial pineapple preserves
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Gradually add sugar to margarine creaming until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg and preserves.
Sift together dry ingredients, add to creamed mixture, mixing thoroughly. Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 about 10 minutes or until cookies are delicately browned.
