Boston Brown Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. graham or whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. seedless raisins
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients; stir well.
    Add buttermilk; mix well. Stir in raisins.
    Spoon in three well-greased No.
    303 (1 pound) tin cans.
    Let stand 1/2 hour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes, or until cake tester comes out clean.
    Cool; remove from cans and slice to serve.
    Refrigerate rest in plastic bags.
    Good with baked beans, hearty soups, salads or use in sandwiches.
    Also makes good gift.
