Caldo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. cubed beef
1 onion, chopped
2 to 3 Tbsp. cilantro, dried or 1 bunch fresh
water
about 8 carrots, sliced
1 piece of corn on the cob or more for each person
zucchini, depending on size, using 1-inch diameter and 6 inches length, about 6, sliced
1 head cabbage
Preparation

Boil first four ingredients together.
Add enough water to keep covered.
Cook until meat is tender (approximately 2 hours). During last 1/2 hour of cooking add sliced carrots.
About 10 minutes later, add corn on the cob. Then during the last 10 minutes add sliced zucchini and cabbage.
Serve in bowls.
Add fresh lime to each serving.
