Apricot Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dried snipped apricots
    2 c. warm water
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. softened butter
    1 egg
    3/4 c. orange juice
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Soak apricots in water 30 minutes.
    Cream sugar, eggs and butter and add orange juice.
    Combine all dry ingredients.
    Drain apricots and add to batter.
    Pour into a greased and floured pan, 9 x 5 x 3-inch.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 50 minutes.
    Cool 10 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.
    Slice and spread with lite cream cheese.
