Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. peanut butter
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. Quaker oats
Preparation

Beat shortening and sugar together.
Add eggs and peanut butter, then flour, soda and salt.
Stir in oats.
Shape to form balls, about 1 inch in size.
Place on ungreased sheet; press with fork to make crisscross pattern.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes 6 dozen cookies.
