Pooya Bread(Hot Cajun Cornbread) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal (plain, white or yellow)
1 c. buttermilk
1 can cream-style corn
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (sharp)
1/4 c. oil
3 jalapeno peppers, chopped fine (more if you like!!)
1/2 small jar pimiento, drained (for color)
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. onions, chopped
Preparation

Mix everything.
Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan, about 1/2-inch thick.
Batter will be rather \"loose.\"
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes, or until it begins to \"brown\" on top.
It should be sort of crisp when served.
