Vt. Apple Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda (baking)
2 ripe bananas
2 c. finely chopped peeled apples
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs.
Add dry ingredients; mix well.
Add apples, then bananas.
Mix well again.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until toothpick comes \"quite\" clean.
Should be quite moist.
