Fresh Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. apple, peeled and grated
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream
    sugar
    and
    shortening.\tAdd eggs and beat.
    Add flour, salt
    and\tsoda.
    Stir in buttermilk and vanilla.\tAdd apples and nuts.
    Stir into batter.
    Pour into a greased loaf pan. Combine
    sugar
    (3\ttablespoons) and cinnamon.
    Sprinkle evenly over batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
