Buttermilk Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. shortening
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
Preparation

Mix first 5 items in bowl.
Melt shortening.
Add buttermilk over eggs and shortening to cornmeal mix.
Beat well.
Grease pan. Fill half full.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Eat with bean soup.
