Ingredients

1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. Domino granulated sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed Domino light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Blend peanut butter and butter.
Cream mixture with sugars and salt thoroughly.
Beat egg and extract into creamed mixture until light and fluffy.
Sift together flour and soda.
Gradually blend into creamed ingredients.
Form into 1-inch balls.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
With floured fork, make a crisscross design to flatten cookies.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 18 to 20 minutes or until light brown around edges. Store in airtight container.
Yield: 3 dozen large cookies.
