Persimmon Cookies(Store With Paper Towels Between Layers) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 tsp. soda
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. each: cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, lemon juice, vanilla
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. persimmon pulp
    2 c. chopped nuts
    4 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. mixed fruit
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, spices, salt, baking powder, lemon juice, vanilla and fruit pulp.
    Beat.
    Add remaining ingredients and beat well.
    Drop on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake 15 minutes at 375\u00b0.
