Finnish Spring Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 6 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cardamon
    1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
    1 tsp. grated lemon peel
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
    2 eggs, room temperature
    1/2 c. chopped almonds
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    In large bowl, thoroughly mix 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt, cardamon, orange peel, lemon peel and undissolved yeast.
    Heat milk, water and butter in saucepan over low heat until very warm (120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0).
    Butter does not need to melt.
    Gradually add to dry ingredients and beat two minutes at medium speed of electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally.
    Add eggs and 1/2 cup flour. Beat at high speed two minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.
    Stir in enough additional flour to make a soft dough.
    Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 8 to 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl, turning to grease top.
