Pronto Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1/4 c. diced onion
    2 1/2 Tbsp. diced green pepper
    1 c. packaged precooked rice
    1 c. hot water
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Melt the bacon drippings in a large skillet.
    Add the onion, green pepper and rice and cook over medium heat until lightly browned, stirring constantly.
    Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Makes 3 servings.
