Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 stick margarine, softened
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 c. mashed bananas
    3/4 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Sift flour, soda and salt.
    Combine the margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla in a large bowl.
    Beat 2 or 3 minutes.
    Stir in buttermilk and bananas.
    Add flour mixture and stir only until everything is combined.
    Add pecans, if desired.
    Fill 2 loaf pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
