Chile Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 garlic cloves, chopped
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained)
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. ground cumin
    1 bay leaf
    2 cans red kidney beans, drained
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cook beef, onions and garlic until beef is done; drain.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer 35 or 40 minutes.
