Walnut Crescents (Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. or 2 sticks or 1 c. soft butter
    1/4 c. confectioners sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. unsifted flour
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and 1/4 cup confectioners sugar.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Shape in rolls 1/2-inch in diameter and cut in 1 to 1 1/2-inch pieces.
    Put on cookie sheet, no grease and pull ends to form crescent shape.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes (preheat oven).
    Remove cookies while a little warm and roll in confectioners sugar.
    Then when cool, sift some more confectioners sugar over the tops.
