Peppered Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 beef flavored bouillon cube
    1 1/4 c. uncooked regular rice
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
    Combine water and bouillon cube in a medium saucepan; bring water to a boil, stirring to dissolve cube.
    Stir in rice, garlic powder and pepper.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender and water is absorbed.
    Remove from heat. Add parsley and toss.
    Yield: 8 servings.
