Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. light molasses
2 eggs
4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
loose sugar
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine 2 cups sugar, oil, molasses and eggs, beating well.
Sift flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt into liquid mixture.
Mix well (very stiff dough).
Refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
Form 1-inch balls and roll in sugar.
Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Cool before removing from cookie sheet.
Makes approximately 6 dozen cookies.
