Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 c. bananas, mashed
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add 1 cup sugar gradually to 1/2 cup shortening; cream well.
    Blend in 2 unbeaten eggs.
    Stir in mashed bananas.
    Blend in sifted dry ingredients. Stir in nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 to 70 minutes.
